AUG 06 - Lake Michigan Memorial – South Haven/Benton Harbor
The Battle Creek Steelheaders Lake Michigan Memorial Tourney was on August 6th. River Bend Boat Club hosted it. We had great weather, and it was hot. Thirty-Five people participated by catching a mix of 29 Kings, Coho, Steelhead, and Lake Trout. The largest fish was 19.75 lbs caught on Tie-1-On; they also took 1st best box with a total of 53.9 lbs. with their best five fish. 2nd best box was on Troy Gilleylen's boat
with 38.7 lbs with their five fish. 3rd best box was on Frank Lash's boat with 27.8 lbs with their four fish.
